The Spookiest Whistler Halloween Yet

Halloween is a favourite holiday here in Whistler. And as with everything, we go full throttle for maximum amount of scare! The freaky celebrations aren't limited to one day. That would mean only a single costume is necessary and well, that just won't do. No, we like to eat, drink, dance, and howl at the moon throughout the whole weekend! Parties, haunted houses, and scary movies are all part of the fun. If you love witching hour as much as we do, then you need to experience the spookiest Whistler Halloween yet!

The Masquerade by Zero Ceiling

Date: October 26th

Location: Squamish Lil'wat Cultural Centre

Put on your best fancy dress and grab a mask for the Masquerade by Zero Ceiling. By moonlight and through disguises, nibble on delicious food, drink, and listen to live music. Proceeds fundraise for Zero Ceiling, a local charity that provides at-risk and homeless youth with housing, employment, professional support, and adventure-based learning.

The Rocky Horror Picture Show

Date: October 28th

Location: Maury Young Arts Centre

The classic and much-loved cult film, The Rocky Horror Picture Show is coming to Whistler! Watch it on the big screen and play along with the live actors. Let's do the time warp while wearing your favourite themed costume. Props are highly encouraged! 

Murder Mystery Beer Pairing Dinner

Date: October 29th

Location: Brickworks Public House

Enjoy an evening of mystery alongside a five-course dinner. Brickworx has gone all out with a Quentin Tarantino theme and delicious beer pairings. Don't forget your costume!

Heavy Hitting Horrorfest

Date: October 30th

Location: Maury Young Arts Centre

The Heavy Hitting Horrorfest is back after a two-year hiatus. Now in its 15th year, this local favourite features independent slasher films. The locals go all out on their costumes to cheer and scream at the indy horror movies. 

Whistler Club Crawl’s Halloween Crawl

Date: October 27th-31th

Location: Whistler Village

Whistler is known for its parties and Halloween is no exception. Hop on a Whistler Club Crawl and experience five of them in one night. Skip the lines and cover with other revelers, all while in fancy dress. 

Pack your bags, they're going to be full what with four days of costumes and not. If you're lacking in the costume department, let us help you with some suggestions. By broomstick or ruby slippers, do what you can to get yourself to town for the spookiest and most fun Whistler Halloween yet.
