5 Very Whistler Halloween Costumes

Did we scare you? It's that time of year when all the spooky ghouls and goblins take over the village! But what if you're traveling and didn't pack a costume to wear? Don't worry, there are a number of places to either pick up a costume or make your own. And once you have that part completed, you can decide where to wear it! We've gathered up 5 Whistler Halloween Costumes that you can make or buy in town and then where you should wear them!

A Lumberjack

This costume is easy as many of its components are part of Whistler's uniform: Toque, flannel, and jeans! You can find these pieces at just about every retail outlet. Cut out a cardboard axe and paint on a beard then you're set!

Where to wear it:

Whistler Haunted House- A Manor Of Creeking

Whistler's Haunted House "A Manor of Creeking" sits in Whistler Creekside across the street from Nita Lake Lodge. Here, families can enjoy a toned down scare version on Saturday and Sunday from noon to 4 PM and the full scare will be available from Oct. 27 to Oct. 31 starting at 6:30 PM to 10 PM. Family admission is $5 per person and the full scare is $10 per person.

A Hollywood star or starlet

Pick up a wig at one of the grocery stores, they usually have Halloween goodies. Then, travel to Function Junction and visit the second-hand store, Deja Vogue for a glamorous dress or suit.

Where to wear it:

The Whistler Public Library will be featuring Jordan Peele's GET OUT, the highest grossing horror movie of 2017 on Oct. 31 at 7:00 PM at the Whistler Public Library.

Bar Hop Whistler is celebrating Halloween in style. Join a group of people and go from haunted house to haunted bar. A total of 4 venues are visited and there will be prizes for best dressed.
