Whistler Bear Viewing is a 2.5-hour off-road jeep adventure within the Whistler Olympic Park. Explore the vast network of former Olympic ski trails in the comfort of one of our 4×4 vehicles, as we search for bears foraging for food. Whistler Bear Viewing offers 5 highly educated and well-trained photographers, ecologists or adventure guides who will keep you informed and entertained. Only Whistler Bear Viewing can offer you this exclusive off-road experience inside the Olympic Park. 

Our expert Whistler Bear viewing guides will collect you at pre-arranged times directly from your accommodation. The tour starts long before the gates open and close to the public, giving you a rare opportunity to experience the park like it’s your own private oasis. Drive to the top of the world-famous Olympic Ski Jumps for a one-of-a-kind panoramic mountain and valley view. Whistler Bear Viewing offers 5 daily departure times. In peak Summer months (July & August) the Sunrise & Sunset tour times are best for Whistler Bear Viewing.

If you struggle with off-roading and bumps, you can tailor the trails to your preference. Just let your guide know! 

There are several photographic points of interest where you will get out of the vehicle so wear appropriate footwear and layered clothing as temperatures can change quickly in the mountains. Each vehicle is equipped with insect repellant or you may bring your own.

All ages welcome, booster seats are available. Infant car seats must be supplied and installed by the guest. While our guides are dedicated to tracking bears throughout the season’s climatic conditions and food supplies can, from time to time, limit our viewing opportunities.
