Combining pure adventure with education about Whistler’s centuries-old rainforest ecology, Ziptrek Whistler is a winter Must-Do! Experience the exhilaration of bravely stepping down the platform stairs, lifting your feet and soaring 180 ft above the ground, while reaching speeds of over 80 km/hr (50 mph). The harness system allows you complete freedom to move, look around, and even enjoy your zipline ride hanging upside down!
The Ziptrek Whistler tour area boasts 7 suspension bridges, 2 rigid aerial bridges, 10 treetop viewing platforms and a total of 10 ziplines. Ziptrek Whistler did exactly what it set out to accomplish — develop a product that approximates the feeling of flying. Better yet, Ziptrek is an environmentally progressive company, able to provide unparalleled adventures in an environmentally and socially responsible way.
Ziptrek TOUR INFO & BOOKING
The ziplines are gravity-fed, so guests do not have to worry about controlling their own speed. Two friendly tour guides will accompany guests on their tour, one guide to connect (launch platform) and one guide to disconnect (landing platform) each and every guest.
Ziptrek’s sales desk is located inside the Carleton Lodge in Whistler Village. Once checked in, and fitted with a harness and helmet, guests will be shuttled by a van from Whistler Village approximately 10 minutes up Blackcomb Mountain. Guests will zipline over the rushing whitewater of Fitzsimmons Creek between Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains.
