The Whistler Bobsleigh is quite honestly at the top of the list for must-do activities here in Whistler. If you have a Bucket List, this activity is a firm inclusion. After a 30-minute Interactive Safety discussion, which includes a safety helmet fitting, track etiquette, safety guidelines and a mock run, you will join your professional Pilot on the world's fastest Bobsleigh track. The track crew will settle you into your Bobsleigh and ensure you are all set to take the ride of your life.
Get ready for take-off with your fellow crew and expect to reach breathtaking speeds of up to 125 km/h! Thunderbird Corner is the highly anticipated feature of the track you’re sure to love! Accelerating through your descent, just like an Olympian did in the 2010 Winter Olympics.
Your Whistler Bobsleigh run will begin to slow on an upward run towards the finish and bring your sled to a safe stop, track crew members will assist you in reminiscing those spectacular moments of action and glory.
The Whistler Bobsleigh Adventure offers dedicated time slots that must be booked in advance. We recommend you book your reservation prior to arriving at Whistler, to ensure you secure a spot. Please read the "know before you go" document below for further information.Â
The Whistler Bobsleigh track is the only one in Canada that members of the public can ride!
No prior experience necessary.Â

Availability: Wednesday to Sunday from November 28, 2025Â to April 5, 2026
All participants must be 14+ years of age (14 & 15 year-olds must slide together with an accompanying adult; 1:1 ratio).
Passenger Bobsleigh
Experience the thrill of the 2010 Winter Olympic Bobsled & Skeleton track for yourself! No experience required! The Whistler Sliding Centre is the only place in Canada where public can try bobsleigh and slide like an Olympian. Event runs rain, snow or shine!

Conquer the Fastest Track in the World as the Pilot of Your Own Bobsleigh!
Ready for the ultimate adrenaline rush? Now’s your chance to take control of a beginner-friendly bobsleigh and race down the Whistler Olympic Track at speeds of up to 115 km/h! If you’ve ever driven a car or a go-kart, you’ve already got what it takes to be a bobsleigh pilot – and it’s easier and safer than you think! The coach will take you through the core skills and techniques. After an orientation, you will be teamed up with a partner – or you can bring your own – who will sit behind you in the sled as a passenger/brakeman.Â
