Where To Grab A Post-Ski Meal

You’ve spent the whole day on the slopes, skiing Saudan’s Couloir, racing down Dave Murray Downhill, and exploring the many runs off of Crystal Chair. Before you know it, a familiar grumble comes from your belly. It’s time to eat! But what will fill that post-ski void? Whistler is full of delicious food and food that is especially made to replenish those lost calories that comes only from spending time on the slopes. After extensive research, we bring you our list of where to grab a post-ski meal!

Gone Eatery

Interested in comfort food that will warm you from the inside out? Check out Gone Eatery for delicious chilli, soups, and sandwiches. What’s more, this cozy spot is located right next to a bookstore, so grab a juicy read and unwind after a day on the slopes. 

Recommended Eats: Try the Black Bean Avo Club, a tasty combination that features a black bean patty, guac, tomato, cheddar cheese, garlic aioli on a Portuguese bun. 

Green Moustache

Looking for something healthy? The Green Moustache is a raw food bar that specializes in vegan food. Make sure to leave room for dessert. Their healthy options are just as delicious as nutritious!

Recommended Eats: The Hearty Veggie Stew is a personal favourite of ours and contains squash, yam, chickpea and coconut stew served with fresh mango salsa.

The Beacon Pub & Eatery

A tasty craft beer and yummy burger are just the meal you need to fill the post-ski void. Take to the Beacon’s infamous patio and sample from their extensive craft beer menu while you’re at it.

Recommended Eats: We’re all over the Royale Burger with Cheese. This delicious burger is made with a fresh ground Alberta chuck patty, aged white cheddar on a sesame seed bun.

Zog’s

If you’ve never tried a poutine before, you haven’t lived. A delicious and decadent mixture of fries, cheese curds, and gravy, poutine is a famous Canadian food and one well worth trying. Who knows, you may end up visiting Zog’s everyday while on your vacation.  

Recommended Eats: Anything and everything. 

Pasta Lupino

A number of us crave a good pasta meal after strenuous activity. Make that meal one that satisfies both your taste buds and your tummy by visiting Pasta Lupino. 

Recommended Eats: The Chicken Parmigiana favourite among the locals.
