Grab a hot chocolate

Warm and cozy are adjectives that we often hear during the holiday season. And nothing quite sums those up like a hot chocolate! Try one flavored with gingerbread, peppermint, eggnog, caramel brulée or toffee nut while sitting in one of Whistler’s many coffee shops.

Buy a sweater

Wrap yourself in Christmas cheer by wearing a snug sweater. Not only will this keep you toasty warm on a chilly winter day but it will also have you thinking of the winter holidays.

Where to go: Visit one of Whistler’s many retail establishments like McCoo’s, Artitzia, The Beach, or Roots.

Build a snowman

Songs were written about this age-old pastime and it is a great way to click right into Christmas mode. Pick up a carrot for Frosty’s nose and a scarf at a local retailer for his neck!

Where to go: Skiers Plaza or Whistler Olympic Plaza are perfect places to build Frosty.

Ice Skate

A classic winter tradition, ice skating with friends is sure to be good old-fashion fun! What’s more, there’s guaranteed to be Christmas carols playing in the background and festive lights flickering as you glide around the ice.

Where to go: There is ice skating on at the Olympic Plaza every day. Here, you can rent skates and a helmet if you didn’t bring them with you on your trip to Whistler

Listen to Christmas carols

Deck the halls with bows of holly, fa-la-la-la! As soon as you hear one of these festive favorites, you’re well on your way to being in the holiday spirit.
