Here’s the thing with skiing: no matter how good you are, there’s always room to improve. There’s always new terrain to tackle, new tricks to learn, and new skills to master. Whether you’re brand new to the sport or have been at it for years, you’re constantly learning.

Whistler happens to be the perfect place to take your skills to the next level. With terrain for every type of skiing and some of the best instructors from around the world, there’s no better place to crush your skiing goals.

It’s as easy as 1-2-3-4. Step one is to figure out exactly how you want to take your skiing to the next level. Step two is to read the rest of this post to find out what resources are available to you. Step three is to sign up for a lesson with Whistler Blackcomb’s ski school. Step four is to make your wildest ski dreams come true.

Goal: Make it Down the Mountain in One Piece

Not all goals have to be earth-shattering or record-breaking. If you simply want to learn how to slide down the mountain – and actually enjoy it – a beginner’s lesson is the perfect place to start.

Don’t make the mistake of thinking that you have to learn as a child to become a proficient skier. Right now, there are hundreds of adults just like you who are stepping into their skis for the first time. With a proficient instructor by your side, you’ll learn to love skiing in no time at all.

Goal: Become the Fastest Skier on the Mountain

If you feel the need for speed, look no further than The Camp.

This three-day camp for adults is lead by some of the most experienced ski coaches in the country, and they’ll teach you everything you need to know to ski like Dave Murray. Think video analysis, private hill space for gate training, and a fun race on the final day of camp to test your skills.

Goal: Gain Confidence in the Terrain Park

With spring skiing just a few months away, it might be time to start thinking about tackling your park skills. Many women feel intimidated in the terrain park, but the women’s ski and snowboard camps offer a fun, supportive environment to sharpen those park skills (and other on-mountain skills, too).

This two-day camp takes place on select weekends throughout the winter season, and you’ll leave with new friends and a new trick or two up your sleeve.

Goal: Go Steeper than Ever Before

You don’t need to look far in Whistler for some gloriously steep terrain. If you’re looking for a confidence booster to tackle Whistler and Blackcomb’s steepest and deepest runs, then you’re a prime candidate for the Extremely Canadian Freeskiing Clinics.

Geared towards experienced skiers, this two day clinic will equip you with everything you need to know to explore Whistler Blackcomb’s world famous terrain. You’ll see the best of both mountains and you’ll be descending the steepest runs like a pro.
