Woodrun Lodge is an elegant condominium development slopeside of Blackcomb Mountain, only a few steps down the slope to Blackcomb Gondola and a short walk to golf, tennis, Whistler Village, and Lost Lake. Woodrun Lodge’s one-bedroom (+ den), two-bedroom (+ den) and three-bedroom units are ideal for families and groups. These Ski In/Ski Out Whistler Condos are particularly famous for their larger than average size of accommodation. Walking into units with fully equipped kitchens, gas fireplaces, private balconies, in-suite laundry and cable TV, has certainly put a smile on our guests' faces year after year.
A free year-round shuttle from Woodrun Lodge provides easy access to the restaurants, shopping and nightlife of Whistler Village. Although a scenic 6-minute walk to the village is recommended, the bus will stop roadside to the development every 10 minutes in the winter and 20 minutes in the summer. Located beside the Blackcomb Gondola, Woodrun Lodge is a perfect location for winter and summer activity enthusiasts. Lost Lake Park and the Fairmont Chateau Whistler Golf Course are a short stroll away. This family-friendly Whistler Condo complex is highly recommended for guests seeking location, size and pure convenience.
BLACKCOMB BENCHLANDS
Affectionately known as “The Bench”, this area is made up of high-end hotels and ski-in/out condos and townhomes. Access to the Main Village is dependent on where you are staying within the Benchlands. There are 3 high-end hotels on flat ground at the very base of Blackcomb, that provide a 4-8 minute stroll into the village center via the beautiful valley trail. Moving up the slope, there are some high-end accommodations that give the very best access to the ski hill. The lower slope accommodations provide walk-able access into the village and present a great way to work off a few cocktails. If you are situated further up the slopes or set back away from the slopes in neighbouring developments, then the easiest way to gain access to the village is to hop on the Free Resort Shuttle. In the winter, the shuttle will pass by your accommodation approximately every 10 minutes and in the summer, every 20 minutes. You will be dropped at the Village in just a 2-minute drive. Blackcomb is equally popular in the summer months as access to the Lost Lake Park and Fairmont Chateau Whistler Golf Course is right on your doorstep.
ONE BEDROOM CONDO
The one-bedroom condo features a fully equipped kitchen, full bathroom with a deep soaking bathtub. There is a gas fireplace, TV, VCR, DVD, CD Stereo in the comfortable living room, together with ample furniture and dining room seating for 4.
These spacious condos work well for small families or couples. Bright and Spacious, with a full gourmet kitchen, living area with dining table, gas fireplace, wireless Internet, private balcony, king or queen master suite with bathroom. The living room generally offers a Queen Sofabed as well (please enquire).
ONE BEDROOM PLUS DEN, 2 BATHROOMS
Guest never fail to be delighted by the extra space offered by these popular condos. Bright and Spacious accommodation offering a fully equipped kitchen for self-catering, in-suite washer and dryer, free long-distance calling and private wireless internet connection. Curl up with a book beside the cozy fireplace or enjoy a hot chocolate on the private balcony. Master Bedrooms normally have either a King or Queen size bed and the Den usually comprises either Bunk Beds or a Queen Bed (please enquire). There are two full bathrooms and most units offer in-suite laundry facilities.
TWO BEDROOM AND TWO BEDROOM DEN
Large windows provide rays of beautiful natural sunlight in both the bright bedrooms and the spacious living area. The master and second bedroom offer different configurations of bedding so making these units ideal for a family or two couples. The Dens will provide either bunk beds or a queen bed (please enquire).
The kitchens are fully equipped and self-catering and include a dishwasher. The dining table normally seats up to 6 persons. These units mostly sleep up to 7 or 8 persons when making use of the comfy pull-out couch in the living room and the Den (please enquire).
The living area features a gas-burning fireplace, TV, and DVD player. Check out the Whistler views from the unit’s private balcony, and take advantage of the free wireless Internet. Or take a dip in the Heated Pool or a relaxing chill in the slopeside Hot Tub.
THREE BEDROOM CONDO
The largest of the Woodrun Condo styles, the 3 bedrooms cater for most group configurations.
The living room features floor-to-ceiling panel windows with magnificent views, with a cozy gas fireplace right in the center, perfect for relaxing after a day on the slopes. The living room also features a large flat-screen television with satellite channels.
The fully equipped self-catering kitchen is furnished with stainless steel appliances and overlooks the dining room that comfortably seats 6 persons. There is a private balcony also accessible from the second bedroom, which is furnished with benches and a table.
The master bedroom features a king-size bed and has a patio door leading to its own private balcony. The second bedroom is furnished with a split king bed and the third bedroom features two twin beds. The couch in the living room pulls out as a sofa bed as well. There is also an in-suite washer and dryer for added convenience.
