It's the most wonderful time of the year: the holidays! The holidays are extra special in Whistler. Why, there are thousands of twinkling lights, snow, and so many exciting activities as well as events to get you into the spirit of the season. Every day is something special. From indoor family friendly events to an Ugly Sweater race, there's countless things to do. To help you plan out your holiday season in the mountains, we selected some of our must-do events.

Escape the chill by spending some time indoors at this family friendly event. Kids and parents alike can enjoy a mini putt course, table games, bouncy castles, crafts and video games free for 15 days over Christmas and the New Year. Parents can take to the lounge area for a much needed break from the holiday action.

Grab some last minute artisan presents at the Made in Whistler Artisan Market. Located in the Westin Resort & Spa Whistler, walk through stands containing handcrafted jewellery, pottery, fine art, unique fashions and foods to find the perfect gifts for yourself and the ones you love.

One of our favourite holiday events that extends into the New Year is the Fire & Ice show. Watch professional athletes show off their skills while also jumping through a ring of fire!

Dance into the new decade at Buffalo Bills. Wear your best masquerade mask. When the clock chimes midnight, unveil your masks and party with a champagne toast. Click here for tickets.
