Go Fest- Whistler’s Great Outdoors Festival

Whistler just isn't Whistler without all the sports and of course, the wild outdoors. In fact, they are so important that there is due cause to throw a giant celebration. Enter Go Fest. Taking place from May 18th to May 21st (May Long Weekend), the four days are filled with outdoor activities, music, culture, and clinics. This festival is a great opportunity to try different outdoors activities while honouring the change of the seasons. Sports

SUPing, yoga, bicycling, and even ping-pong can be found at GO Fest. If there was ever better a time to try out that activity that you've always wanted to, now is no better!

Not To Be Missed: The Bici Gusti Gourmet Ride marries food and bikes! Enjoy a 70 km route that contains moderate climbs and flowing descents. After you've sweat, enjoy an exquisite post-ride dinner created with ingredients from within 70 km of Whistler and prepared by Ned Bell.

Music

A main stage will take over the Village Square and fill the surrounding area with music throughout the four days of the festival.

The Whistler Film Festival is returning for its 5th annual Adventure Film Series as part of GO Fest.  The Adventure Film Series is dedicated to educating, inspiring and motivating audiences about environments, cultures, issues, and adventures through the power of the story. 

Clinics

The GO Fest provides the perfect opportunity to try out an activity and learn something new. Plenty of clinics can be found on the schedule. These clinics provide a safe environment in conjunction with experienced coaching to make your first experience an enjoyable one.

Not To Be Missed: The GO Sailing Clinic is joined by certified instructors that will provide a 3 hour introduction clinic on Sailing. No experience required

Village

Even if sports aren't your thing, there's truly something for everyone during the festival. A vintage car show, birdhouse making class and the start of the seasonal Farmer's Markets can fill your day or just be a stop in on your way to something else. There's so much to do!

Not To Be Missed: Let’s kick off your action-packed weekend with a tasty pancake breakfast at the Library. Breakfast is served from 10am until noon on Friday May 18th at the Whistler Public Library.
