Lake Placid Lodge

Lake Placid Lodge will provide you with a peaceful and quiet stay, all while being located directly across from Creekside Gondola. Majestic alpine tranquillity is at your fingertips with all the lodge has to offer. Ski-in/ski-out access, a heated outdoor pool and hot tub, and a lobby with a cozy river-rock fireplace are some of our favourite amenities! Lake Placid Lodge has one, two or three bedroom suites that feature a fully equipped kitchen, living room with a fireplace, and common laundry facilities.

Lake Placid Lodge is located in Whistler Creekside, which also happens to be Whistler locals’ go-to village. So be sure to spark up a conversation with neighbours, servers, cashiers and shop owners, and ask for the local's favourite restaurants, pubs and clubs. The famous Dusty’s Après Ski Bar features regular live entertainment and great food, so be sure to take a short 2 minute stroll and check it out. Whistler Village is a 5 minute bus ride away, with the bus stop just steps from your door. In our opinion, Lake Placid Lodge is a well-situated property that offers affordable ski-in/ski-out accommodation located in a popular Whistler hot spot.

WHISTLER CREEKSIDE

Just south of Whistler’s Main Village, Whistler Creekside is becoming extremely popular with avid skiers and families requiring easy ski hill access or summer lakeside hangouts. Creekside offers an upscale collection of condos, providing immediate access to the ski hill and many beautiful lakeside parks and walks. There is also a high-end lakeside Boutique Hotel situated just a few minutes walk to the Ski Hill. Creekside has fast become its very own little village with a collection of amenities to include a large grocery store, beer and wine stores, shops and eateries and the famous “Dusty’s Bar and Grill” at the base of the ski hill. There are also a few very popular restaurants within walking distance of most accommodations. In our opinion, Creekside is the fastest way to gain access to the mountain and certainly one of the most convenient. Whistler Snow School is situated at the base of the mountain, along with the Creekside Gondola providing easy access to Whistler Mountain. If you want to be amidst the bustle of Whistler Village, it’s just a 4-5 minute drive away by car, or catch the scheduled Bus Service for a nominal fee.
