Follow wide and winding trails amongst giant old-growth trees and thick forests with the most beautiful mountain backdrops. There is plenty of Whistler terrain to explore, and it can be enjoyed at any pace! Snowshoeing is a perfect activity for the whole family, with snowshoes available in all sizes. All tours are guided and include equipment and transport to & from Whistler Village.
Medicine Trail Snowshoe Tour
Embark on a captivating snowshoe expedition along an old trapper’s trail in the ancient Callaghan Valley forest. Gain insights into traditional wisdom and enjoy healing herbal teas from the Medicine Trail. Marvel at the grandeur of giant cedar, fir, and hemlock trees overhead. Wrap up the experience with a light fireside snack at the caboose.

Barrel Sauna & Snowshoe Experience
A guide will lead your trek through this wild place of beauty to the barrel saunas. Breathe in the magical air, bask in the natural medicinal energies of the old-growth forest, achieve heightened levels of awareness, detox in the wood-fired heat of the saunas, and feel your soul fully awaken as you connect to the natural world. The Finnish, Icelandic, and Norwegian cultures have long known the long list of health benefits of this Nordic practice of combining exercise, forest therapy, and wood-fired saunas. Facilities are no frills and include a small change room and outhouse. No showers on site.

Snowshoe Adventure with TAG

The Coast range forest is home to diverse varieties of flora and fauna including towering Douglas firs, alder, spruce and 900 year old western red cedars, and our expert guides will share their knowledge on this unique place. This 3 hour tour begins with a 30 minute ride in a 4×4 from Basecamp to the trail head. From there, your guides will take you on a 2 hour trek.
