Dogsledding Whistler is a true Canadian experience! You’ll meet your professional musher and powerful dog team at one of the two Whistler Dogsledding partners, both with base camp in the Callaghan Valley. The expert mushers will guide you through staging the dogs and teach you the commands to drive your own team. Once you feel confident in driving the team of eager dogs, you'll take off on an epic winter journey through magnificent, snow-covered old-growth forests. Stop for a warm-up at Trapper’s Cabin on Totem Pole Lake and learn about the history of our Canadian fur trappers.

Mountain Mushing
Experience the treasured Canadian Wilderness in timeless style with an iconic Dogsled Tour. You’ll step into our comfortable sleds filled with complimentary blankets to keep you warm during your ride.
- Departure: 9:00am, 12:00pm & 3:00pm
- Duration: 3 hours round trip including shuttle
- Maximum weight of 350lbs per sled. Please keep this in mind when booking 2 adults or 2 adults + 1 small child.
- Children must be 4 – 12 years old to ride as a plus one.

Trappers Run
Relax with your family as you ride a mellow mix of open and winding trails for an unforgettable winter journey, with plenty of photo opportunities.
- Departure: 8:30am, 11:30am & 2:30pm
Duration: 3 hours round trip including shuttle - Maximum weight of 350lbs per sled. Please keep this in mind when booking 2 adults or 2 adults + 1 small child.
- Children must be 4 – 12 years old to ride as a plus one.
Important Booking Information
- Driver’s License: All drivers of ATVs, buggy’s, and/or snowmobiles must be at least 19 years old with a full, unrestricted (equivalent to a BC Class 5) license. All drivers who are under 25 years old are required to present their license upon check-in.
- Release of Liability and Waiver Form: It is mandatory for all tour participants to sign a Release of Liability and Waiver Form. Any participants under the age of 19 must have a parent or guardian present to sign on their behalf.
- Helmets: It is mandatory for all ATV, buggy, and snowmobile tour participants to wear a Department of Transport Safety Approved Full Faced Helmet while on tour.
- Alcohol: Under no circumstances is any person suspected to be under the influence of any drugs or alcohol permitted to go as a driver or passenger on any tour. Persons denied participation will not receive a refund.
- Pregnancy: Safety regulations require that pregnant women are not permitted to ride as drivers or passengers.
- Health: Adventure sport activities are not recommended for individuals who suffer back or neck pain, heart or respiratory distress. Consult your physician prior to participation. If you have any food allergies or food requirements please let your Reservations Agent know.
- Weight: The ideal weight for a smooth ride on snowmobiles is 170kg (350 lbs.) or less. Please keep this in mind when organizing double riders.
