Whistler bike guides will steer you towards trails that are hidden gems along with area favourites. Wicked climbs and rolling ridgelines followed by mind-blowing descents that flow beautifully down to the valley floor. ELECTRIC BIKE TOURS
Experience the future of mountain biking on this unique whistler bike tour in the Callaghan Valley. Electric assist mountain bikes offer just as much fun going up, as coming down. The latest electric mountain bikes take advantage of advances in electrical vehicle technology to boost your bike skills so you can enjoy more trail without the strain.
Your electric bike guide will teach you the basics of riding a full-suspension electric mountain bike at before leading you through a magnificent old growth forest along the Callaghan Creek. Cruise side by side on the nicely shaded double track trail that leads to the jewel of the Callaghan Valley to the breathtaking 140 foot Alexander Falls.
A fleet of 500 watt, full suspension, high-performance GIANT e-bikes feature a hybrid “electrical assist” system that seamlessly boosts your pedalling power to push your biking to new terrain more comfortably than ever before. With three levels of electric assistance to suit a variety of fitness levels, you will still need to pedal but the bike provides a boost which makes it that much easier to enjoy this thrilling wilderness journey.
Things to note in regards to these tours are:
1. Minimum height 5’2”
– shuttle to/from the Callaghan Valley
– guide, instruction and trail tips
– high performance 500 watt, dual suspension electric mountain bike
– helmet, gloves, glasses and rain jacket
– axe throwing
What to Bring:
– closed-toe footwear
– water bottle
– appropriate dress for the weather (rain jackets will be supplied if needed).
