Mountainstar Whistler

Mountainstar Whistler

Mountainstar Whistler Townhomes on Blackcomb presents a luxury escape set directly beside the Blackcomb Ski Hill, literally metres from the Cruiser Run. The Blackcomb Gondola, restaurants and world-class hotels are just at the base of the hill, a short ski or walk away. All Mountainstar Whistler Townhomes offer fully equipped gourmet kitchens with heated slate floors, mostly granite countertops and stainless appliances, including a dishwasher and coffee maker. The Mountainstar Townhomes also feature wood floors in the dining/living room, providing a cozy modern mountain feel. Gas fireplaces illuminate the high ceilings and keep you toasty warm during those cold Whistler winter nights.

If you seek extra warmth, look no further than your back door where you’ll find a private outdoor hot tub that boasts views of the surrounding woodland and wilderness seclusion. Mountainstar Whistler townhomes are located on Blackcomb Mountain, which allows you to ski home to the development via Home Run. When you’re ready to head back out to the slopes, it’s only a one-minute walk back to the Cruiser Run. The free village shuttle passes your door every 10 minutes in the winter and every 20 minutes in the summer.

Choose between 3 bedroom or 3 Bedroom + Den homes that have in-suite laundry and access to complimentary secure underground parking. If it is comfort and luxury you seek, then Mountainstar Whistler Townhomes are an excellent choice.

BLACKCOMB BENCHLANDS

Affectionately known as “The Bench”, this area is made up of high-end hotels and ski-in/out condos and townhomes. Access to the Main Village is dependent on where you are staying within the Benchlands. There are 3 high-end hotels on flat ground at the very base of Blackcomb, that provide a 4-8 minute stroll into the village center via the beautiful valley trail. Moving up the slope, there are some high-end accommodations that give the very best access to the ski hill. The lower slope accommodations provide walk-able access into the village and present a great way to work off a few cocktails. If you are situated further up the slopes or set back away from the slopes in neighbouring developments, then the easiest way to gain access to the village is to hop on the Free Resort Shuttle. In the winter, the shuttle will pass by your accommodation approximately every 10 minutes and in the summer, every 20 minutes. You will be dropped at the Village in just a 2-minute drive. Blackcomb is equally popular in the summer months as access to the Lost Lake Park and Fairmont Chateau Whistler Golf Course is right on your doorstep.

Mountainstar was FANTASTIC
Our place at Mountainstar was fantastic. It was super cozy, really clean, and had everything we needed for our stay. The ski-in and ski-out instructions were very helpful. The garage had lots of space and it was great to keep our car out of the snow. Everything was better than we could’ve expected!

Great Slopeside Property
Whistler Reservations were very responsive and accommodating. They went above and beyond giving us the flexibility to check out late on short notice when our transportation fell through. Mountianstar is Highly recommend.

"WONDERFUL PROPERTY. WE WILL BE BACK"
Thanks Stu! We had a fantastic time in Whistler. We really appreciate your help getting our transportation etc figured out, and helping us get the fireplace lit. The house was great and very convenient for us, and I really liked the style. We loved how easy it was to take the bus to town. We left a few suggestions in the notebook at the house including bus information for the house (Always take bus #5 and the stop for the house is called "Painted Cliffs Turnaround"). We thought that might help the next people out. We also left info about how to find the ski-in and ski-out locations as I had to google search for it since we were new to the mountain and "Home Run" wasn't on the mountain maps. Thanks again for everything!! We look forward to returning to Whistler. Anne & Family

"5 STAR PROPERTY AND SERVICE"
Very close to the free bus which was super convenient with kids. Also easy to ski out onto Blackcomb. Second downstairs bedroom is very tiny. But was fine for small kids. House, hot tub, etc all in great shape. One FYI for future guests is that the garage clearance is only about 6’ 10” so you might have to take off a roof cargo box like we did... but you won’t need your car at all for the stay if just in/around the village which was nice. Overall great. Would definitely stay there again. Date of arrival - February 13, 2020

"AWESOME LOCATION"
Awesome location! Ski in ski out and a private hot tub make all the difference. Check-in was a breeze and getting in contact was quick. Highest recommendation for a Whistler ski trip!

"GREAT LOCATION AND EASY ACCESS TO BLACKCOMB MOUNTAIN"
The unit was in a great location with easy access (ski in ski out) or an easy free shuttle to the village. It was clean and had well appointed kitchen and nice bedding. It was a bit of a tight squeeze for our family of seven, but we enjoyed our stay! Stu and Linda were very helpful

"GREAT LOCATION - COMFORTABLE LAYOUT"
We had a great family vacation at the unit. Close to the slopes and bus stop. Nice open plan layout, convenient parking. One of the bedrooms was pretty small but otherwise good spaces for 6

Flawless Service
We just returned from a long weekend in Whistler. The reservation process and communication with Whistler Reservations were flawless. We were provided with very clear instructions and in plenty of time ahead of our arrival. They even checked in with us shortly after check-in to make sure we were ok. We asked a question about the hot tub and Stu replied with an answer immediately. When we left we mistakenly took a remote control. I immediately contacted Stu and he provided instructions on where to send it back. He was very polite and helpful. I hope we have the occasion to use them again as it was a great experience!

Highly Recommend Mountainstar
Mountainstar was very comfortable and clean, and the location was prime - an easy short walk to the slopes and a few minute shuttle/drive to the village. Highly recommend and look forward to visiting again!

Overasll Great Place to Stay
Property was fairly well described. Stuart from Whistler Reservations was easy to talk with leading up to and during our stay. He was helpful and quick to respond to any questions. The location for ski out access was excellent. The hot tub was nice-the neighbour's had a privacy screen but would’ve been nice if we had one as well-but overall no big deal. Overall great place to stay. Only downside would be the cost-but everything in whistler is expensive so good luck. Date of arrival - February 17, 2024

We will definately stay here again.
We enjoyed our stay and found the layout to be perfect for our group of six! Four of us were able to work in peace at various points without interruption and it was easy for people to nap downstairs or in the master while everyone else played a game (lots to choose from!) or cooked on the living level. We really appreciated the well appointed kitchen - especially the crock pot to keep our sauce warm while using the whole cooktop for two pots of spaghetti and steaming vegetables. This was the first time we had outdoor ski storage and found it worked well with the foyer entry. The only downside was not being able to access the ski in feature due to lack of snow and then too much snow, going in and out was a quick five minute walk. We would definitely stay here if we ever come to Whistler again.
