Ski School Programs

We tailor the lesson with your child's needs and pace in mind. Private lessons offer personalized coaching with a maximum of 5 people of similar abilities. Naturally, a private lesson provides an accelerated learning environment and as a result, you can expect rapid progress. Terrain is chosen to fit your child's abilities and moods. It is a great way to be introduced (or be reacquainted) with all both mountains have to offer.

Welcome to Whistler Blackcomb Ski & Snowboard School, not only do we have more terrain, we have different snow conditions to make it really interesting. Fortunately, this combination also attracts some of the best instructors on the planet. While you're here, you should take advantage of their knowledge and take a lesson.

ADVENTURE CAMPS

An Adventure Camp is our best group lesson program for kids. It's absolutely jam packed with fun events and activities. Your children will get comfortable fast as they have the same instructor all week. What happens is nice all around - the kids get to know other kids, the instructor really gets to know the kids and lasting friendships often blossom. This is an enhanced learning progression that ends up in measurable results. Fun is just the beginning��

This is no ordinary ski school, it's a culture. You ski and ride with pros who know the mountain inside out, top to bottom and bottom to top. The results prove that doing it differently is doing it better.

A full five days, Monday-Friday of mountain discovery with our group of teen pros. The same group and instructor for the week make for an excelerated experience. An unforgettable learning/fun/energizing/full tilt experience.
Full day lessons begin at 8:30am.

Our specially trained ski pros focus on individual attention to ease the learning curve. Beginners only. No pressure zone. Specialized easy to handle terrain. You can relax and learn at the same time. This is the place for quick improvement and a feeling that you're really getting somewhere fast.

Small is beautiful. These are semi-private groups with a maximum of 3 students - enough to fill 1 high-speed chair. You'll receive individual attention, intimate one-on-one instruction, a unique social environment, and instructors who are all long-term pros. These lessons take place on Whistler and Blackcomb Mountain.

Enjoy two days of Frosty Fun just for the girls! This program is designed for people in their first stages of learning to ski, from never ever to green runs. This is a warm positive environment that will help you get to that next level. You�ll get great coaching to help you along and the apr�s is a riot, complete with your new friends, a few prizes and lots of the day�s triumphs to share.

Legendary Dave Murray Ski Camps were started in 1982 by the former World Cup Downhiller and Crazy Canuck, Dave Murray. The camps are open for Intermediate to Expert skiers wanting to take their skiing to the next level. A true passion for skiing is passed on every day by some of the best ski coaches in the country. We are committed to seeing results in your skiing whether on groomers, bumps, gates, powder or the steeps.

Dave Murray would always say "The best skiers are the ones who can ski everything."

These camps are addictive. Head coach Tom Pro hand picks his coaches; they must stand up to rigorous testing before given the �Holy Grail� of coaching. A Dave Murray Camp coach is a rare breed. They have distinguished pedigrees and spending a day with one can be a life changing experience. They will not rest until your skills have improved!

3-day camps on Whistler Mountain: December 14, 2009 - February 2, 2010 & March 9 - April 7, 2010

In a two day Steep Skiing Clinic you will discover both the best of Whistler Blackcomb�s insane steeps, and the best of yourself. Our dedicated coaches mix a potent cocktail of technical instruction, steep skiing tactics, and local knowledge, to provide you with an insider�s experience not to be found anywhere else.

Extremely Canadian is geared towards adventurous advanced-intermediate to expert skiers. If you can ski an un-groomed �Black Diamond� run at your home hill, then you belong with us! Skiers are placed in small groups of similar ability, optimal for honing your steep skiing skills. Combine with a serious amount of vertical, and we guarantee improvement, tired legs, and an unforgettable ski experience. Our clinics offer the adventurous skier two days of expert Extremely Canadian guiding, lift line priority, a guaranteed improvement in your steep skiing skills, and our infamous apr�s-ski decompression session at Merlin�s bar and grill. We�ll supply the beer and nachos; you supply the super-hero ski stories from the past two days.

2-day clinics on Whistler Mountain:  December 5, 2009 - April 18, 2010
Three times a week on Saturday/Sunday, Monday/Tuesday, and Thursday/Friday

All day specialized mogul clinics, directed by 2 time Olympian John Smart, using current and former World Cup skiers as coaches and techniques developed directly from the world's top mogul skiers. The clinic also includes daily video with one-on-one analysis after skiing at Merlin's Bar.

Aimed at recreational mogul skiers, mainly adults. All levels of mogul skiers welcome, from the intermediate skier who just wants to be able to get down a bump field, to advanced skiers looking for a new challenge.

You can book just for a day or do back-to-back days, depending on your schedule. The maximum ratio of skiers per coach is limited to 6 and you�ll be divided into groups based on your skiing ability, so you learn at a comfortable pace.
