Experience Whistler Heli-Skiing. The Whistler Blackcomb Heli-Skiing experience is for everyone to enjoy! The ability to ski blue (intermediate) runs is all that is required, the professional guides select terrain most suitable for each groups ability.

Just beyond the ski lifts of Whistler and Blackcomb awaits the ultimate high Alpine experience. Imagine carving through untracked pillows of powder with endless terrain and breath taking scenery.

The Skiing varies from wide open Glaciers to beautiful gladed tree runs. After a day in the backcountry you will be bought back to an apres party where you will have the opportunity to view an edited video of your day on the slopes. The DVD's and photo's are sold to those wishing to take home a great momento. All Heli-Adventures are led by a professional, certified Heli-Ski guide and Include an Avalanche transceiver and powder ski tracers, on mountain lunch and return ground transportation from Whistler Village.

Heli-skiing with Whistler Heli is about great skiing in gladed trees, open bowls and on glaciers. It is not about "extreme" skiing or jumping cliffs and rocks. We require that skiers are able to do parallel turns and snowboarders be able to handle deep powder.

Classic Experience

• 3 runs - approximately 4,500 – 7,500 vertical feet, or 1,400 -2,300 vertical meters of skiing.
• $815 CDN plus HST per person.* • Extra vertical is available for $85 CDN plus HST per person, per run.
• Bell 205 Helicopter, groups of 7-10 people.
• Designed for intermediate to advanced skiers or boarders – No powder experience necessary.
• Professional photo and video service. View and purchase at après party.

Elite Adventure

• 4 runs - approximately 6,000 – 10,000 vertical feet, or 1,800 – 3,500 vertical meters of skiing.
• $899 CDN plus HST per person.* • Extra vertical is available for $85 CDN plus HST per person, per run.
• Bell 205 Helicopter, groups of 7-10 people.
• Designed for expert skiers and boarders.
• Professional photo and video service. View and purchase at après party.

Ultimate Excursion

• 6 runs - approximately 9,000 – 15,000 vertical feet. or 2,700 – 4,600 vertical meters of skiing.
• $1,150 CDN plus HST per person.* • Extra vertical is available for $95 CDN plus HST per person, per run.
• Fly in the exceptional Bell 407 Helicopter, small groups of up to 5 people.
• Designed for experts who wish to move quickly and are considering doing extra runs.
• Suitable for groups of up to 5 with similar abilities who are looking for a more private experience.
• Private photographer available on request for $1,500 plus HST, photographer occupies 1 of the 5 seats.

CHOOSE YOUR ABILITY LEVEL WHILE TAKING INTO CONSIDERATION YOUR SKILLS, THE PACE OF THE DAY AND THE TERRAIN.

(Blue, black and double black runs refer to the runs at your home or usual ski area.)

(I) Intermediate

• Blue Runs: Ski/board them with little trouble doing parallel turns down the fall line.
• Black Runs: Occasionally ski/board them. Double Black Runs: Can get down sometimes but not with a lot of style.
• Off Piste/Powder: Have some experience with different snow conditions and powder.
• Pace of the Day: Short pitches of skiing with lots of stops for rest, skiing tips and pictures.
• Terrain: Intermediate terrain.
• Suggested Package: "Classic Experience"

(A) Advanced

• Blue Runs: Have been skiing/boarding for years and get a lot of days in per season. Blues are easy.
• Black Runs: Routinely ski/board them. Double Black Runs: Often ski/board them.
• Off Piste/Powder: Enjoy powder and seek it out whenever possible.
• Pace of the Day: Similar to the expert, with longer pitches of skiing and less stopping, but at a more relaxed pace.
• Terrain: A combination of intermediate and expert terrain.
• Suggested Package: "Classic Experience"

(E) Expert

• Blue Runs: No problem on any blue run. Black Runs: No problem with any black runs.
• Double Black Runs: No problem with any double-black runs.
• Off Piste/Powder: Lots of powder experience and like to ski it quickly, rarely falling.
• Pace of the Day: Longer pitches of skiing and less stopping.
• Terrain: Steeper lines and terrain provided avalanche hazard is appropriate.
• Suggested Package: "Elite Adventure" OR "Ultimate Excursion"
