Whistler Blackcomb is fortunate to have a true four-season climate, with boundless sunshine in the summer and epic snowfall in the winter. Being located in the Coast Mountain Range of British Columbia, the climate consistently offers the most reliable snow conditions. Whistler’s historical average snowfall is 11.92 metres (39.1 ft) per year measured at mid-mountain elevation, and due to its coastal proximity, temperatures are moderate through the winter season. You can expect -5°C (22°F) average daily alpine temperatures during most of the winter months. During the summer months, you can expect the average high temperature in the valley to be around 23°C (74°F) and lows around 9°C (48°F).
